Watercolour Painter

I was born in and lived most of my life in Wagga, I have been drawing and sketching as long as I can remember. I started painting in watercolour as a subject of a drafting certificate I undertook in Canberra in 1980, I am now a retired building designer of some 35 years, I attended Mitchell School of Arts Bathurst on a number of occasions and studied under world renown watercolourists Joseph Zbukvic and Alvaro Castagnet, and also under Blue Mountains international landscape oil painter John Wilson. I have won numerous major and minor awards in both Watercolour and Oils, I love to paint and draw in all mediums , including studio and en-plein air painting when time permits, I will paint any subject from portraits to interiors with a passion to paint Landscapes , Streetscapes and Old farm buildings, I find it’s not the subject that counts but what you can do with the subject that will make it sing.
